2016 UC San Diego Staff Appreciation Holiday Breakfast

ALL TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THIS POINT ARE ONLY FOR THOSE ON THE WAITLIST. ONCE THE WAITLIST IS CLEARED, THE TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC.

The UC San Diego Staff Association invites staff members to attend the 42nd Annual Staff Appreciation Holiday Breakfast. Come celebrate the end of the year with your friends and colleagues, and enjoy a complimentary breakfast served to you by Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla and other distinguished administrators.

This event is for career staff only. Please make sure to bring your Staff ID to the event.

• 1st Seating: 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m

• 2nd Seating: 7:45 a.m. - 8:45 a.m

• 3rd Seating: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

• 4th Seating: 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.* (limited number of tickets available)

All tickets for the complimentary breakfast must be reserved through Eventbrite which will be live on Wednesday, November 16 at Noon. After registering, you will receive your ticket via email within 24 hours. Please note only one ticket per current staff member is permitted. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other seatings. There will be no tickets avaiable at the event. Menu: This year's menu will feature breakfast casserole, egg scramble, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, breakfast pastries, orange juice, and coffee. There will be gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.

Craft Fair: The annual arts and crafts fair, featuring homemade items crafted by our UC San Diego staff members, will again be held in conjunction with the breakfast.

Donations are also welcomed for the following:

• Beanie Babies for the NICU

• Homeless Veteran Care Package

• travel size toiletries of shampoo, lotion, shaving cream, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, razors, etc.
• new t-shirts, underwear, and socks in all sizes for men, women, and children
• new or gently used clothing particularly jackets and sweatshirts

• Annual Toy Drive (A new, unwrapped toy)

Note: Gilman Parking Structure is complimentary this year from 6:00am - noon.

FAQs

Do I need to arrive at the start time in order to be served breakfast? No, breakfast will be served for the entirety of each of the four serving times.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable? No, unfortunately, tickets are not transferable.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Please bring your current UC San Diego Staff ID. This breakfast is for staff members only, please do not bring spouses or children to the event.

Will there be gluten-free and vegan options served? Yes

Will Thornton and Hillcrest have a similar holiday event? Please reach out to your supervisor for more information. Events are planned by each facility independent of the breakfast at the La Jolla campus.

Do I need to register for a ticket to visit the Craft Fair or bring a donation to the Toy and Clothing Drive? No, you do not need to register for a ticket in order to attend the Craft Fair or drop off a donation.

Is my student worker allowed to register for a ticket and attend? No. This event is for career staff only.
